FIRST DAY: CAYAMBE HUT AND ICE PRACTICE
Departure from Quito at 10 am in a 4x4 private transportation towards the south in about 3 hours to the first shelter that is at 4,800 meters height. Then walk 1 hour to Jose Rivas hub 4800 meters. Then take a box lunch, and have a chat with the guides in order to prepare equipment and a technical practice on ice. We will dinner at 6 pm and go to rest until midnight.

SECOND DAY: CAYAMBE SUMMMIT
We wake up at 12pm to take a hot tea and make sure our equipment is ready to begin the ascent to the summit that has 5895 m height. After 5 to 7 hours we will reach the summit and will enjoy a beautiful scenery of the Andes. Then 2 to 3 hours back to the hub, collect our gear and back down to the transportation. We will be returning back to Quito around 4 to 5 pm for a good rest.
