It is the Central Park of the city, was baptized like Park Zaracay on October 17, 1957, here is the monument to Joaquin Zaracay, who was the first governor of the ethnicity of the Tsáchilas.
The construction of the Zaracay Park was a thanks to the inhabitants of the city, who carried out Mingas, where 17 cement benches were located in honor of the provinces existing in Ecuador and around 15 trees. Since its inception the park has witnessed the civic, political and religious events that mark the development of the city.
To get to the park you can take from the terrestrial terminal a taxi to Av. de los Tsachila or also by car.
