Yanahurco hill - Urcuqui
Also known as Cerro Negro, located on the left side of the Shingles lagoon at a height of 4400 M.A.S.L. The mountain constitutes the rest of what was a huge volcano. This viewpoint is one of the vestiges of the aboriginal settlements in the canton, it is also visible and we can observe it in the path that goes towards the community of Piñan.
Yanahurco has become an eco tourist destination for tourists who enjoy adventure in nature, you can make rides and mountaineering.
For its access from Urcuqui is carried out by the sectors of Iruguincho, Sachapamba and Buenos Aires, it is a 4-hour horse ride.
