Waterfalls rute
It is the stretch that includes the road Baños - Puyo with a little more than 60Km. It crosses more than ten waterfalls with spectacular landscapes, tunnels, and a vertiginous road with mountain on one side and abysses on the other. The road is full of activities and a number of hidden waterfalls, with places to camp, staying in the jungle, food, spas and adventure sports at each stop. You can easily drive along the route or admire it from a bicycle, motorcycle, 4x4 or quad that can be rented in Baños.
Most tourists only go to the famous "Pailón del Diablo" about 18 km from Baños where you can appreciate the waterfalls with a tarabita ($ 2).
WARNING: Wear bicycle helmet and chain plus repellent. The roads can be very dizzy
BY BUS:
From Baños to Puyo $ 2.5, two hours
The bus stops at the place you ask and from there you can take another one to follow your route. Buses limited especially at night.
IN CAR ($ 50c / d), 4X4 ($ 50c / d), QUADRON ($ 30c / d), MOTORCYCLE ($ 25c / d) OR BICYCLE (S15c / d)
You can rent them in Baños. It does not include insurance and you only need a driver's license to rent them. Bicycles can be returned on any bus back.
