                                                In addition to the Malecon del Salado is the monumental pool of dancing waters. The work, executed by the municipality and inaugurated on October 30, 2011, has an approximate cost of 3.8 million dollars, was built by the Spanish firm Ghesa Ingeniería y Tecnologia.

One of its main attractions is a geyser (thermal source) in the form of a spout that allows to elevate the jets of water to 40 meters of height. The pool has 64 dischargers that raise water up to 20 meters that allow on a screen of water as a movie, projecting videos, ripples and other figures. At night it's a colorful spectacle full of music and pictures. In the shows you can see jets of water with blue, violet, red, yellow and in all its tonalities dancing to the chords of the music, ranging from semiclassical pieces to the characteristics "Guayaquil of My Loves" and "Guayaquil, wood of warrior" synchronized with images of the city, in the mirror of 30 meters.
