Varadero Beach was a place where there were 24 cabins, in which the villagers, in an informal and untidy way, offered prepared food. In 2010, it had a process of urban regeneration, implanted by the mayor of Guayaquil, which made it a comfortable and functional place for the service of tourists.
The Varadero Beach Tourist project is a place of great attraction, it allows the visitor to enjoy the splendor of a beach of 2.5 kilometers of extension and a privileged climate, in which also are comfortable facilities between which protrudes a patio of meals at the foot of the sea, in the form of shell and made in Muyuyo (wood of the zone) , where you can taste the delicacies of the seaside gastronomy. When the tide is low, natural pools are formed from which the little ones enjoy the most. On the side of the beach there is a cliff. In the lower part of the hill is a large area where you can organize beach football games.
There is a market of various items in which you can find 24 restaurants; 21 of food made with seafood, 2 cocktails and ice cream parlor. It also has 3 beach access ramps, 4 lifeguard towers, parasol rental service, children's play module, consignment area, parking spaces for cars and buses, a reserve area, showers, pergolas, and 10 hammocks with cabins.
