Las Tintoreras is one of the islets that surround the Bay of Puerto Villamil-Isabela. This islet is characterized by having a sea inlet like a lagoon that ends in a channel where the sharks come to rest. This place is very visited by tourists because they can observe the sharks from a path on land that passes next to the channel. In addition to seeing sharks, in this islet there are colonies of iguanas and sea lions; visitors can also occasionally see sea turtles. After the visit to Las Tintoreras, visitors make a stop to snorkel in a sector near the islet.
The tour usually includes the boat from the pier, naturalist guide, refreshments and snorkeling equipment. The tours start from the Embarcadero pier and have a duration of approximately 2 hours.
