On the hill Sinchahuasín rises a staircase the same that is cut by the shield that has printed the date of cantonization of Pujilí; This staircase leads from the base to the top of the hill. The hill constitutes a viewpoint of pujilí and its surroundings.
The hill corresponds to the Tarqui formation; It is a thick sequence of tuffs, agglomerates, pyroclastic materials and lava. The tourist viewpoint of the Canton Pujilí is located in the southern part of the city, is a project of urban development artisan of the Cerro Sinchahuasin. To ascend the viewpoint you have to climb 600 steps, in the middle of the ascent there is a cement wall in the shape of rhombus, more or less than 20 mt2, in which is a mural with the shield of the canton.
