Rose beach
It is an unspoiled beach between Ayangue and Palmar. The beach is known because of the color of its sand, given by the minerals contained in it. There is a lot of nature to see and hence a good spot for nature lovers.
There is a regular service from Montañita, which takes 40 min in direction to the south (Salinas). By car take the road to Salinas and exit to Playa Rosada, a few km after the exit to San Pedro and Ayangue.
From San Pedro and Ayangue you will need to arrange transportation (5 min). Take the road Salinas-Puerto Lopez-Manta and the exit to the left to Playa Rosada after crossing Palmar.
