                                                The Ronda in Quito is a historical and emblematic neighborhood of the city, it is a traditional street, associated with the bohemian and the art of Quito of yesteryear. Synonymous with gastronomy, crafts and fun, especially at night, it is the oldest street in Quito.
Attractions
• The constructions are modest with balconies, with interior patios, terraces, with corridors and rooms that look towards a centrally paved patio, hallways, many of them with doors, the walls of the houses are smooth and with few openings.

At present, there are some restaurants with typical Ecuadorian food, literary and bohemian coffee shops, a legendary picantería, as well as a traditional sweet shop in Quito and an orphanage. Manufacturers of decorative candles, sobadores, healers, musicians, can be found in the street of La Ronda along with the famous cinnamon Quito and the delicious empanadas de viento.

Of the various venues, two stand out: the Casa 707 and the Casa de las Artes de La Ronda. The first one is under the direction of the Quito Cultural Heritage Rescue Fund (FONSAL) and has served as the setting for numerous free artistic presentations, privileging Ecuadorian music.

The House of the Arts of La Ronda is a cultural center that was created with the purpose of hosting artistic exhibitions and creation spaces for future artists, in other words, it seeks to rescue the creative spirit of La Ronda.
