Reventador volcano

If you want to reach the summit of the vulcano it is important for you to hire a qualified guide, since there are no marked trails after the eruption in 2000. The walk takes 5 hours until the camp and to reach the summit another 4 hours. Therefore, it is recommended to do this in two days.
By car take the Amazonia highway with direction El Chaco. The vulcano is located 20 km before the town of El Chaco. By bus, take a bus in the Quitumbe Terminal to Lago Agrio. Exit in El Chaco.
