LOS RIOS-QUEVEDO

                                                Quevedo is one of the cities of Ecuador, located in the center of that country, on the banks of the river Quevedo, has a population of 150,827 inhabitants (in 2010), its main economic activity is farming. It is the cantonal headwaters of Quevedo and the largest and most populated city in the province of Los Ríos. It is considered the new banana capital of Ecuador for being the center of operations of most of the banana companies operating in the country and the prestigious quality of its export fruit.

Quevedo can be accessed by several points being the most used way that arrives from Guayaquil through Babahoyo, it is recommended to wear light clothing for the almost always hot weather.

You can also enjoy walks through the banana haciendas (among them the largest: "Hacienda Los Carriles") and farms where cocoa is grown.

In the evenings you can go out to enjoy their bars and nightclubs. There are also numerous leisure and recreation centres with swimming pools. Its wide river allows to make rides in jet skis, regattas, other fluvial sports, camping, trekking, among others.
