Peguche waterfall - Otavalo
This fall of more than 17 m of height and 6 meters of width is formed in strong slopes. It is known for its scenic beauty and energetic powers site chosen to perform rituals. This site is considered to be an indigenous ceremonial center, since here they are made purification baths to begin the festivities of the Inti Raymi or Festival of the sun and the crops.
With a cosy environment and defined trails, this site calls for relaxing moments in the company of family and friends. In the vicinity of the waterfall are marked sites for the realization of activities like camping and picnic.
In a particular vehicle 23 kilometres from Ibarra, 10 minutes from the North Panamerican exit from Otavalo and 2 km from the parish of Peguche.
