Pedernales beach

Pedernales is a small town north of Manabi. It has a beach of ca. 2.5 km, which in low tide allows access to the Cojimies Beach. It is a calm and not no touristy beach, but a good stop to rest and relax in the Spondylus Route.

Getting there

                                                        Buses from Manta to Esmeraldas go through Bahia de Caraquez and Pedernales. There are daily buses also from Santo Domingo
