Palenque science center - Quevedo
More recently known as "Palenque Tropical River Forest", the Rio Palenque Science station is a natural reserve administered and protected by the Wong Foundation. The elevation range of the reserve ranges from 100 to 170 masl. This reserve is one of the last patches of forest in the region of influence of the Palenque River. The reserve is completely surrounded by areas of agriculture and grasslands. The property where the Rio Palenque Reserve is located has a space of 190 hectares, 115 of which make up the protected forest and the remaining 75 hectares are dedicated to the production of tropical fruits and agro-forestry projects.
Buena fe, en el kilómetro 56 de la via Quevedo-Santo Domingo, cerca del limite provincial entre los Rios y Pichincha.
