Nono city

PICHINCHA-QUITO

                                                The archaeological remains show that the area of Nono was already inhabited from the 500 years A.D.C., when in the sector formed small scattered hamlets.
• This population developed contacts with other peoples who arrived later, either to stay or only in passing.
• In the Colony new forms of life were imposed, the lands passed to the hands of
Spanish and there was a cultural mix that caused strong changes in all aspects of the lives of these populations.
• Since then, indigenous communities from the area have lived together in Nono
and people from Spain and other regions of the center and outside the country.
WEATHER
The predominant climate of the region is cold and humid, as much of the parish is located on the western slopes of Pichincha, which are made up of very humid mountainous forests; when going down the height it is transformed into temperate semitropical characteristics with abundant vegetation.
