The Municipal Museum presents varied exhibitions: archaeological with approximately 2,000 objects belonging to pre-columbian cultures of the coast and the mountains; Collections of art and objects of the colony as paintings, portraits, coins, medals, books with the peculiarity of being one of the few museums in the city that has a permanent exhibition of objects belonging to the ancient Guayaquil.
