The Municipal Museum presents varied exhibitions: archaeological with approximately 2,000 objects belonging to pre-columbian cultures of the coast and the mountains; Collections of art and objects of the colony as paintings, portraits, coins, medals, books with the peculiarity of being one of the few museums in the city that has a permanent exhibition of objects belonging to the ancient Guayaquil. It also has the largest room in Guayaquil.
By taxi or private vehicle to the street Pedro Carbo and August 10, diagonal to the park seminar. The nearest station of the Metrovia is the Stop the Mail south-north, two blocks from the museum.
