Natural viewpoint with a beautiful view of the Chota Valley and the Nevado Cayambe, it is known as the "Pachense Terrace" or "Balcón de los Andes" for its privileged location. It is a region with important presence of the black race, 35 communities contribute with their traditions, music, dances and Fiestas afro. The latter, the bomb steer, the wax pass, are typical and unique cultural manifestations of this region, along with its typical corn-based dishes, such as shampoo, Paspas, Sangria and delicates. Its pleasant climate and its cheerful people invite the tourist to take a stroll through its streets. It is located 18 km southwest of El Angel by a secondary road.
