PASTAZA-MERA

                                                It owes its name to the ambateño writer Juan Leon Mera, author of the Letter of the national Anthem of Ecuador. It is located at 1150 meters above sea level; With temperatures averaging 20 ° C and a high rainfall index that makes its soil suitable for cultivation. Mera is surrounded by natural beauties, protected forests, caverns and waterfalls.

Mera is a privileged place of the province. It has beautiful, colorful, wide and colorful landscapes of the Pastaza, which in an imposing form is irrigated to the Amazonian plain.
