Limpiopungo lagoon - Cotopaxi National Park
The lagoon of Limpiopungo is a place destined to the direct naturalist tourism, in the place it is possible to take walks and to enjoy the flora and fauna associated; But the natural channels have been altered, which would lead to the lagoon to decrease its flow; The same one that has been maintained thanks to the rain.

By car 20 km from the city of Latacunga and 8 km from the town of San Juan de Pastocalle. Access is not very difficult, there is a second order route that leads to the foothills of the volcano and necessarily crosses near the lagoon.
