La loberia beach
La Lobería Beach is located in the southern part of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. This coarse sand beach has a rocky landscape and cliffs where it is possible to enjoy the sighting of marine Iguanas, marine birds, and a small colony of sea lions. It is also an excellent place to practice snorkeling with tropical fish, sea turtles, rays and sea lions.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Because the ocean currents can push swimmers against rocks or drag them out to sea, swimming is recommended only when life-guard is present on the beach. Also, due to the strong equatorial sun, it is advisable to use sunscreen, wear a hat or hat and bring water to hydrate.
The easiest way to get to La Lobería is by walking or by bicycle. Visitors should take the Alsacio Northia Avenue in the direction of the airport. Then, turn left between the stadium and the Naval School. From this point, the road is asphalted and signposted to La Lobería.
Another way to get there is hiring a taxi-van for a cost of USD 3.50.
