Kicker Rock Galapagos
The visit to Kicker Rock can be done through a daily tour of snorkelling or diving or through the 360 tour. In this site you can see several species of fish, sharks, sea turtles and sea lions. The modalities of the León Dormido tours include a visit to one of the several remote beaches of San Cristobal Island such as Manglesito, Puerto Grande or Cerro Brujo.
Due to the strong equatorial sun it is recommended to use sunscreen, wear a cap or hat and bring water to hydrate. In addition, it is advised to bring a light jacket in case there is wind while sailing.
The only way to access Kicker Rock is by hiring a tour at a local agency in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. The Kicker Rock's tour, whether it is for diving or snorkelling, includes transportation, naturalist guide, lunch, drinks, snacks, towels, snorkelling or diving gear. This type of tour departs from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno around 8:00 am and takes approximately 6 hours. The 360 tour, which includes a visit to Kicker Rock, departs from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno between 6:30 and 7:00 am and lasts approximately 7 to 8 hours.
