Ibarra museum central bank

Museum of Regional Archaeology of the Sierra Norte, is a cultural center belonging to the central bank, built in the year of 1940. It is a interesting sample of the Pre-inca ceramics of the Sierra Norte with interesting pieces of gold. The museum consists of a single plant, which is divided into the colonial and Republican Art Room, historical archive, library, temporary exhibition hall, auditorium and cultural warehouse. In the museum you can also admire a model of the Battle of Yaguarcocha and several maps that relate as the historical events and geographical distributions happened.
In public transport from the terminal of Ibarra or private vehicle to the street Antonio Jose of Sucre and Oviedo, together with the municipal company of Aguas de Ibarra.
