Ibarra cathedral

In front of the park Pedro Moncayo stands The Matrix Church of Ibarra, rebuilt in the nineteenth century after the earthquake that asolo the city.
Inside the cathedral took advantage of the altarpieces of the old company of Jesus for the present altars where the images of the holy, the Immaculate and San Miguel Rest. Its main altar of Baroque style, covered with gold leaf and its classical columns in stone and decorated with oil paintings, many of them belonging to the Quito school, of Evangelists, apostles and Saints of the Catholic Church.
