Hollin waterfall

The waterfall forms a pool perfect for a bath and many people do kayaking with this incredible 19m fall. However, the river is strong and you should be careful after the pool. Hollin waterfall is formed by volcanic rock of thousands of years. Around the waterfall is posible to camp or make a BBQ. The waterfall is a supplier of the Hollin river, if you keep going downstream you would reach Hollin river and a second waterfall (9 meters fall). You can reach this second waterfall by a pathway right of the road before the bridge.
The waterfall is located in a private property. Thus, the entrance is $1 per person, $2 for foreigners. The place is wonderful for bird watching. There are many hummingbird for photographers. The place have accomodation few meter form the waterfall ($20 per person, $50 the master room with hot water and tub). There are toilets and a restaurants with local food.
In order to reach the waterfall you should walk around 100m from the entrance. Kayaking is very common there, however, only professionals should make it.

                                        

                                                        BY BUS:
You can take a bus in the way  Tena  -  Archidona  - Narupa - Hollín -  Loreto  -  El Coca  . The place is 19Km from Narupa. From  Tena  to Hollin waterfall, $2.5, 50Km, 90 min.
BY TAXI: 
From  Tena , to Hollín waterfall $30 one way, $50 return and the driver waits for you.
