In this patrimonial house lived the composer Antonio Neumane, in the year 1866, at the time of composing the score of the national anthem of Ecuador. It was formerly the vacation home of Gabriel García Gómez, father of President Gabriel García Moreno. In 1950 the House passed into the hands of Mrs Lida Pintado.
The house was inaugurated on May 19, 2017 and was delivered to the Albert Paulsen Foundation, performing Arts. This patrimonial property, known as the "painted" house, is located in Calle Numa Pompilio Llona, at the foot of Cerro Santa Ana, in the Barrio Las Peñas.
The purpose of this House is to support specialized actor training, as well as to develop the study and diffusion of the great dramaturgical works of the classical and contemporary theatre.
It has three classrooms for general classes, one of them (the widest in the low silver) will be used for classes of contemporary dance and body movement, as well as serving as a theatre room for 80 spectators
One can also paddle, in the opposite way, passing under the bridge 5 of June, until arriving at the Citadel Urdesa, in whose route one appreciates the flora and fauna of the sector. As for animals you can see birds, herons and patillos and nest in the trees. And in the flora the mangrove is appreciated, in its four species: white, red black and Jelí. The use of the life jacket is compulsory for all sailors.
