Historical site scenario of the proclamation of the independence of Ecuador. In the center is the Statue of Liberty, a modern piece designed by the outstanding Pinto and sculptor Oswaldo Guayasamin. The houses that surround the park, occupied by public entities and businesses of tourist services, retain the colonial style, like the constructions of the street Diez of August.
