Giron village
Attractive village of Casa Coloniales, located at a height of 2160 masl. Its pleasant climate with warm temperatures has turned it into the fashionable summer site for the watersheds. Haciendas, Quintas and holiday homes are all part of the Jubones River basin.
The best time to share with their people and their customs and during the two most important festivals of the city: the first corresponds to its patron lord of the Waters, in November, and the second of the anniversary of the Battle of Tarqui on February 27.
From Cuenca, drive 42 km along via a Machala, direction south-west. The Giron bus cooperative travels from Cuenca's terrestrial terminal every day.
