Franciscan monastery Guano
The Franciscan Order is established in this community since 1560, and builds a large monastery, which unfortunately was destroyed by the earthquake of 1645 and 1787. From this first church there are only ruins, some walls retain their original frescos with religious motifs. By removing the rubble for the reconstruction of the new church they discover the mummy of the Franciscan Lazaro, exhibited in the Museum of the city.
