The street was called Gral. Ulpiano Páez, the current administration chaired by Mayor Prof. Carlos Falquez battles, began urban regeneration, and in this aforementioned street was created this walk, with the bust of Mr. Diego Minuche, who was the first mayor of Machala, elected by popular vote.
Today this is a walk in which activities of a pictorial, artistic and other type are developed.
The promenade is cosy and considered by the connoisseurs as an ideal space for the area: it has green areas, porcelain floor and a large metal structure with cover of poly carbonate, new technology material that filters out the light.
