On the 3815 MASL is this sector that possesses 3 large lagoons and wide fields of frailejones. On its self-guided trail of 2 km there are rest stations and viewpoints to enjoy the scenery. The EL VOLADERO entrance is the busiest because it has a path to enter in the middle of the army of flailejones. Likewise, this trail goes through a lagoon and presents important information about the reserve.
To get to the entrance the Voladero must depart from the city the Angel. In the central park of the city you can take a van that takes you to the reserve and returns you to the city. They charge $ 30 and they wait for you until you go around the place. The route is 17Km, the first 2Km are paved and the remaining 15Km are ballasted. So you need a high car to get to the place. The journey takes about an hour.
