                                                Cumbayá is a suburban parish of the Metropolitan district of Quito, this located to the east of the Ecuadorian capital in the valley of Tumbaco, is recognized by its pleasant climate and being one of the most exclusive residential zones of the city, in the parish one of the principal universities of the country is located the university San Francisco of Quito. The Church of Cumbayá in the central square and the church of Miravalle, built in 1987, are examples of architectural designs of the rural beginnings of the area, among the modern examples are the Rancho San Francisco complex, the corner, Centro Plaza and the shopping centers Villa Cumbayá, among others, in the valley of Cumbayá is the largest and most advanced convention and business center in Ecuador that 2013 brought together parliamentarians from all over the World in the Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
