Cube lagoon Quininde
It is a permanent lagoon located in the south eastern boundary of the Macha-Chindul mountain range, southern part of the Bioregion del Chocó. It is part of the forests of the western foothills of the coastal mountain range of mache; Found within the Ecological reserve mache-Chindul
In the lagoon has destined a zone for swimmer of more than 8 meters of depth, in which it is not recommended to try to touch bottom as it can be trapped by the mud. During the tour of the lagoon you can have the opportunity to observe alligators of more than 2 meters, toucans, guacharacas in species of endemic fauna of the area.
The wetland has mostly been used for agriculture and livestock, mostly for grasslands and maize-growing areas.
By car to 1 h 30 m from Quininde, to the northwest until you reach the "Y" of the lagoon.
