Chaquiñan Cumbaya

                                                The Chaquiñan de Cumbayá is a cycling route that crosses the parishes of Cumbayá, Tumbaco and Puembo, crosses a stretch of the old railroad that linked the north of the country with the Sierra and the Ecuadorian Coast.
It is one of the most well-known and traditional routes of the city. Before being intervened and formally adequate, it was already used by cyclists, known under the name of 'El Muerciélago', because there were colonies of these animals that were found in the tunnels that the road has.
The Chaquiñan is a place visited by people of all ages, it is a simple cycling route, it does not present very steep elevations or technical differences in its route. However for the length of it, it is recommended that the person has previous experience in two-hour bicycle tours
