Chachimbiro hotsprings - Cayambe Coca National park
It is a thermal tourist complex located in the rural parish of Tumbabiro in the village of Urcuquí.
The waters with temperatures between 30 to 50 ºc contain a high presence of chlorides and sulphides of iron, magnesium, copper, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, among others, which act as digestive regulator, stimulant of the cardiovascular system, stimulant diuretic and of the central nervous system. As well as anti-inflammatory in traumatisms, neuralgias, arthritis, rheumatism and to counteract cutaneous and gynecological infections.
It has several services such as two saunas, two thermal hydromassages, relaxation tubs, two natural thermoturkish, therapeutic jets, polar pool, plus the therapy and ozone therapy service.
There are daily departures from the Cooperativa Urcuqui, from the terrestrial terminal of Ibarra to the 07h30 and 12 to Chachimbiro and return to the 13, 30 and 16h45.
