Awa forest reserve

CARCHI-TULCAN

                                                This reserve is suitable for those who enjoy ecological walks, has an extension of 101,000 hectares that are shared by the provinces of Carchi and Esmeraldas, has a warm humid climate with an average temperature of 24 º C.

It is inhabited by the Awá community, Aborigines who maintain their cultural traditions within a semi-sylvan vegetation with large forests and plains, a mountain rich in flora and fauna ideal for birdwatching, typical of the region.
