"La Dolorosa" waterfall - Gualaquiza
The waterfall La Dolorosa, constitutes a small waterfall of approximately 20 meters in height, which forms a small lagoon approximately 6 meters wide where it is possible to enter and take a bath. The water is crystal clear, very clean and has a pleasant temperature.
The attraction is located in the interior of a forest with vegetation of the tropical humid zone.
Around the waterfall have formed small pools of water surrounded by plants. Along the river that forms the waterfall are hundreds of fossils of shells.
In car is entered via the route Gualaquiza - San Juan Bosco, then access to the sector La Dolorosa. From here starts a path where you must walk 30 minutes until you reach the waterfall.
